My Logitech wireless G602 is a great gaming mouse though, so I know wireless can work very well. It’s not wireless but some prefer wired mice. +Good match to go with the Corsair RGB Mechanical Keyboards as both the mouse and keyboard are configured in the same software.Ĭons: -The packaging is nice but it is literally like a puzzle trying to open without ripping the cardboard box up. The wheel scrolling feels great also, and is very similar to my Logitech G602 wireless mouse. +The mouse glides very smoothly for me, and feels good in my small hands and has a good weight. +16000dpi – That’s the most I have had on any mouse I have owned.

+You can do a manual calibration of the mouse for use on your mouse pad in the CUE software, although I’m not sure how necessary that really is. It might be hard to feel which button you are pushing, although there is a dimple on two of the buttons, and two of the columns have a patterned texture to them. Each profile lets you configure 12 individual side buttons for that profile, which would be good for mmorpg games.

There is the default profile plus any more that you can create where you can configure every key, lighting, dpi, etc. The multi color lights also just make your setup look all the more classy in my opinion. Without the lighting you would have no idea what profile is loaded. The lighting on it is attractive and it’s not just for looks, the lighting visually lets you know what profile you have loaded, along with other settings like dpi. Pros: +In my opinion this mouse is very nice looking.

If you can get used to the software this mouse delivers. Overall Review: This is a love it or not kind of mouse. No dedicated forward/back buttons (can be accomplished in CUE software though)ĬUE software can occasionally forget settings (only happened to me once)Ĭannot adjust the weight if that matters to you The last row of the 12 buttons is a bit of a reach (for my thumb anyway, it's hard to press a smaller button where my thumb bends at) Some kind of raised notch for orientation would be nice. I have another Corsair mouse (M65 Pro) and it has held up remarkably well, I expect this mouse to be no differentĬons: Takes some getting used to with the 12 side buttons – can sometimes be hard in the middle of a moment to figure out which button your thumb is on. Pros: Great ergonomics – ring finger rest is great for long term useĬUE software is good – customization of all kinds is possible – from lighting to macros/keystrokes for a variety of use cases (even for not gaming)Ĭapable of very high dpi and is easily adjustedĪll buttons have just the right amount of feedback to them But a lot of time will need to be invested to learn the CUE and to perfect the settings. Buttons can be programmed and timers set for macro playback, precision attacks and defense combinations. I imagine hardcore MMO gamers would benefit the most from the Scimitar Pro. Overall Review: It's a beautiful well-designed high quality mouse. I'm not a fan of the CUE, still trying to learn it actually.
After installing the CUE, my corsair strafe RGB keyboard lost all its settings and I have yet to figure out the new format. The mouse may feel uncomfortable for anyone with medium or small hands. Lighting, DPI, performance and surface calibration can all be set using the CUE.Ĭons: Larger than most average size mice. The 12 button keypad on the side can be shifted and adjusted for comfort. Almost every button on the mouse can be customized using the CUE (Corsair Utility Engine) software. Users can pick and tweak their own preferred horizontal or vertical DPI. Works great on a 4K display or even multiple 4K displays using DPI up to 16000.
Can be used for gaming or any kind of application.
